How Private 1v1 Chat Works

Choose video, audio or text, get matched with one person, and skip whenever you want. Each call has two people: you and your match.

The short version

Choose a mode. Pick Video for face to face, Audio for voice only, or Text to type first. You choose before matching starts.
Get matched with one person. Tap Start Private Chat and you are paired with one person who is online now. Only the two of you are in the call.
Keep talking or tap Next. Stay as long as you like. If it is not a fit, tap Next and the call ends right away for both of you.

Go to private1v1chat.com in a mobile or desktop browser. There is nothing to install and no sign-up form.

Choose how you want to talk. You pick the mode before matching starts.

Allow camera and microphone
Your browser asks once. Video needs both, Audio needs only the mic, Text needs neither.

You are paired with one person who is online now. Your first match is free.

Stay as long as you like. Tap Next to end the call and meet someone new.

Report or block if needed
If someone makes you uncomfortable, use the report or block button during the chat.

When	What happens
You tap Next	The call ends right away and you are matched with someone new.
You end the call	The call ends for both of you.

Sit facing a light source so your match can see you clearly.
If the camera does not start, check that the browser has camera permission in your device settings.
Keep personal details like your full name, address and social accounts to yourself.

How do I start a private video chat?
